Jess is a 6-year-old black labrador with a calm nature and loving approach. She is my therapy dog and is on hand to offer support or just some love.

Jess was trained with Canine Assisted Learning to be a School Therapy Dog, and spent most of her early life residing in school, on hand to encourage children in who were finding aspects of school life difficult. She listened to children read and spent her break times playing on the field with the children. Some children even enjoyed training her to jump through hoops and roll over!

Jess has taken on a new role now. She thoroughly enjoys saying hello to people, but is also understanding if somebody is not keen.

Keep up to date with Jess on the Routes to Wellness FaceBook page.
